Madeleine is a retail professional based out of Atlanta, GA. Born into a family of business professors, Madeleine's character has been shaped by a deep-rooted commitment to learning and complex problem-solving.
After graduating as a Newcomb Scholar from Tulane University specializing in Marketing & Management, her career began at Restaurant Brands International (Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes) within the competitive Leadership Development Program. The program began with an immersive 10-week experience, spending 40+ hours a week at a Burger King restaurant-- which she still fondly recalls as one of her most valuable learning experiences. Returning to HQ, Madeleine honed her skills in holistic problem-solving with roles across Marketing, Operations, Analytics & Global Strategy.
Transitioning from the corporate realm to the dynamic landscape of start-ups, Madeleine joined Frida (Fridababy, Frida Mom, Frida Mom brands) in early 2019, spearheading the development of their cutting-edge analytics and performance marketing capabilities. She designed Frida's POS data infrastructure and marketing tech stack, automating the organization's abilities to make quick decisions. She was instrumental in omnichannel strategy, including managing media & retailer programs, leading pricing & promotions, crafting best-in-class line reviews, and optimizing assortments across channels. Over time, her responsibilities expanded to shaping comprehensive business strategies including data-derived innovation roadmaps, new channel strategy, licensing & acquisitions, and growth modeling-- all aimed at propelling sustained growth for the business. She currently leads the Growth & Analytics team at UPPAbaby, a market-leading brand in the Baby Gear category. She is responsible for managing Amazon and DTC growth strategy, alongside companywide analytics and demand planning.
Now, Madeleine leverages her expertise to help businesses of all sizes achieve their growth objectives. As a versatile consultant, she tailors highly personalized solutions to meet the unique needs of each organization. Her experience spans a wide variety of industries, including Baby, Personal Care, Pet, and Home.
In her free time, Madeleine is a devoted pet parent to a sassy black cat and actively advocates for animal welfare through local shelter programs. You can often find her at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee immersed in Retail Brew, or at the piano playing her husband's favorite Queen song (Don't Stop Me Now).
